The wide spread interest from OSDL's Health Care Day in building a "community of communities" around Open Source in Health Care has motivated OSDL to set up a new mailing list for all interested parties. If you are interested in Health Care in the Open Source space and cross pollenation between various communities, you may want to join the health care community mailing list.

Gerrit is the Chief Solutions Architect in IBM's Emerging Solutions team and one of the key drivers for IBM's Systems & Technology Group's Cloud offerings. Previously he was an architect in the Linux Technology Center and has been a driver for much of the LTC's involvement in the Linux kernel, Linux scability, availability and serviceability strategies (kprobes, systemtap, kexec), Xen & virtualization strategies,and hardware and software enablement for IBM and its partners.
